The masjid is ours.
Now we renovate.
What began with fifteen families in Blossom Valley is now a community of more than a hundred. After twenty years of renting we have purchased a building of our own — and the renovation is what we need help with now.

BVMCC was founded because busy schedules made it difficult for families in Blossom Valley, Almaden Valley and South San Jose to commute to the other Islamic institutions around the Bay Area.
So our founders established a center nearby, where the Qur’an and the Hadith are studied and practised. Twenty years and a hundred families later, that is still the whole idea.

Programs taking registrations
Open to the whole community. Registration is handled on the forms below.
Youth Brothers Program
A regular gathering for young men of the community — halaqa, discussion and sport.
Arabic Playful Sprouts
Early Arabic for our youngest, taught through play rather than worksheets.
Friday Khutbah Feedback
Tell the board what is landing and what is not. The khateeb roster is shaped by it.
One Jumu’ah, for now.
The old building ran two Friday prayers because it could not hold everyone at once. During the move we gather for a single Jumu’ah at The Plex, a short drive south.
Come early. Space is tight and the khutbah starts on time.
Jumu’ah
While we settle into the new building, there is one Jumu’ah prayer, held off-site.
800 Embedded Way, San Jose, CA 95138
Three ways to give
Every dollar is handled by the board and goes to the fund you choose.
Zakat al-Maal
Your obligatory annual charity, distributed through the masjid to those entitled to receive it.
Operations
Rent, utilities, and the day-to-day costs of keeping the doors open for five daily prayers.
Renovation Fund
The building on Cottle Road is ours. This fund pays for the renovation needed to open it fully.
