Learning, every week.
Classes and gatherings for children, youth and adults. Registration is open on the forms below.
Youth Brothers Program
A regular gathering for the young men of the community — a short halaqa, open discussion, and time to actually know each other outside of school. Run by volunteers from the congregation.
Arabic Playful Sprouts
First Arabic for our youngest, taught the way small children actually learn — through play, repetition and songs rather than worksheets. Small groups, parents welcome.
What happens without signing up
Nothing to register for — just come.
Five daily prayers
Called and prayed in congregation at the new masjid on Cottle Road, on the published monthly timetable.
Jumu’ah
One Friday prayer at The Plex while the new hall is finished. Khutbah at 1:30 PM, with room for the whole community in one jamaah.
Khutbah feedback
The board sets the khateeb roster month by month, and it reads what the community sends in.
Want to start something?
Most of what BVMCC runs began with one person in the congregation offering to teach a class or organise a halaqa. The new building has room for more.
Sisters’ halaqa, a Qur’an circle, weekend school, a sports night — if you would run it, the board wants to hear from you.
Volunteers needed
The renovation of the new masjid is ongoing and the programs above are run entirely by volunteers from the community.
